Corrections & right of reply
Reporting that holds others to account has to be open to challenge itself. If something published here is wrong, unclear, or names you without your response, use this page. Requests are read by Sabir Esa personally.
Our corrections policy
- Every request is acknowledged, normally within five working days.
- Clear factual errors are corrected promptly. The article carries a dated correction note — we do not quietly rewrite published work.
- Anyone criticised by name is offered a right of reply before publication wherever possible, and always afterwards on request.
- Where a request is declined, we say why. Disagreement with a conclusion is not the same as a factual error.
- Published corrections and replies are listed on this page so the record is public.
- Private legal, care-work or personal correspondence is never published, and contact details sent to us are never shared.
